As Vice President on the Code4Change Executive Board, you serve as the second-in-command of the organization — supporting the President in strategic planning, coordinating across all board directors, and stepping in to lead when needed. You are the connective tissue of our leadership team, ensuring alignment, accountability, and momentum across every department.

As Director of Outreach on the Code4Change Executive Board, you are the primary voice and bridge connecting our organization with schools, community organizations, student groups, and potential partners. You will work closely with our student leaders to expand our reach to new schools and communities, promote our free programs, and inspire more young people to explore STEM and technology — with a particular focus on underrepresented youth.

As Director of Technology on the Code4Change Executive Board, you oversee all technical infrastructure, tools, and systems that power our organization. From managing our website and digital platforms to guiding the adoption of new technologies, you ensure that Code4Change operates with a modern, reliable, and secure technical foundation — enabling our volunteers and students to focus on learning and impact.

As Director of Social Media on the Code4Change Executive Board, you own our entire digital presence and brand voice. You craft compelling content, grow our audience across platforms, and tell the story of Code4Change — from student achievements to program launches — in a way that inspires action, builds community, and attracts the next wave of volunteers and learners.

As Secretary on the Code4Change Executive Board, you are the organizational backbone of our leadership team. You keep meetings structured, decisions documented, and the entire board informed and aligned.

Lead the overall chapter and set goals. You recruit and mentor volunteers, build relationships with schools, libraries and community organizations, coordinate with the national Code4Change team, and ensure successful delivery of programs and events.

Plan and manage AI, Python and Data Science cohorts for your state chapter. You recruit instructors and teaching assistants, coordinate schedules and curriculum delivery, and ensure a high-quality learning experience for every student.

Recruit students and build partnerships with schools, clubs and community organizations in your state. Coordinate outreach events and information sessions, and help identify local sponsors and supporters.

Manage chapter communications and social media, organize meetings and volunteer schedules, track registrations and program metrics, and support event logistics and chapter administration.

Deliver engaging, project-based coding classes that introduce students to Python programming from the ground up. Act as a coach and mentor, fostering curiosity and confidence in students who may have never written a single line of code before.

Guide students through data science, showing them how raw numbers can reveal powerful stories. Teach students to collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data using real-world, community-relevant datasets — empowering data-driven conclusions about issues they care about.

Bring students to the frontier of Artificial Intelligence. Through creative, hands-on projects, demystify how AI models work, empower students to use generative AI tools thoughtfully, and lead candid discussions about societal implications of this technology.

Equip students with foundational knowledge and practical skills to navigate the digital world safely. From networking to ethical hacking, bring cybersecurity to life through gamified challenges, real-world case studies, and project-based activities.

Work directly alongside Lead Instructors to provide individualized support to students during live sessions. Ensure every learner — regardless of background or pace — has the guidance they need to succeed.

Be the architect of learning experiences that define Code4Change courses. Translate advanced technical concepts into clear, student-friendly tutorials, project guides, and coding challenges that instructors use to deliver world-class lessons.

Design the frameworks that make Knowledge Cafe sessions come alive — Code4Change's signature one-hour condensed STEM workshops. Craft themes, activities, and discussion prompts that spark genuine peer-to-peer learning on niche technical topics.

Be the public voice and visual identity of Code4Change. Build our online presence, share authentic stories of our student community, and use strategic content to grow reach, attract volunteers, and promote programs.
