State Director

Lead the overall chapter and set goals. You recruit and mentor volunteers, build relationships with schools, libraries and community organizations, coordinate with the national Code4Change team, and ensure successful delivery of programs and events.

Plan and manage AI, Python and Data Science cohorts for your state chapter. You recruit instructors and teaching assistants, coordinate schedules and curriculum delivery, and ensure a high-quality learning experience for every student.

Recruit students and build partnerships with schools, clubs and community organizations in your state. Coordinate outreach events and information sessions, and help identify local sponsors and supporters.

Director of Operations & Marketing

Manage chapter communications and social media, organize meetings and volunteer schedules, track registrations and program metrics, and support event logistics and chapter administration.

Lead Instructor — Python4Change

Deliver engaging, project-based coding classes that introduce students to Python programming from the ground up. Act as a coach and mentor, fostering curiosity and confidence in students who may have never written a single line of code before.

Guide students through data science, showing them how raw numbers can reveal powerful stories. Teach students to collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data using real-world, community-relevant datasets — empowering data-driven conclusions about issues they care about.

Bring students to the frontier of Artificial Intelligence. Through creative, hands-on projects, demystify how AI models work, empower students to use generative AI tools thoughtfully, and lead candid discussions about societal implications of this technology.

Design the frameworks that make Knowledge Cafe sessions come alive — Code4Change's signature one-hour condensed STEM workshops. Craft themes, activities, and discussion prompts that spark genuine peer-to-peer learning on niche technical topics.

Be the public voice and visual identity of Code4Change. Build our online presence, share authentic stories of our student community, and use strategic content to grow reach, attract volunteers, and promote programs.
